Dear Lovers of Asian Modern Fine Art,

October marks the beginning of the last quarter of the year and this is our sixth auction. Our sincere gratitude to your tremendous support by sharing your love for art and acquiring our collections. This edition of Asian modern fine art predominantly exhibits renown Indonesian artists -- the late as well as rising ones. As many as sixty-three assorted choices intend to meet the preferences and aspirations of art lovers and enthusiasts.

Take a virtual tour and look closer at each painting. Each artist represents the era in which the artist lives, including the subject matters, techniques, perspectives and colour values the artist adopts. Through the narrations of the paintings, your imagination will fly and get clear understanding of what the artists are trying to tell. Some paintings capture life journeys, events and portraits. A few may be deep and sombre yet meaningful, and a few others may look playful and young at heart.

In the previous Asian Modern Fine Art auction, we featured the work of Salim, our artist in Paris. Here we have the remainders, six more of Salim’s paintings (lots #620-625). Four paintings of the late Jeihan Sukmantoro have also enriched this auction and followed by paintings of Sudarso, Trubus Soedarsono, Ong Kim Seng, Arie Smit, Basoeki Abdullah, Nyoman Gunarsa, Popo Iskandar, Zaini, and Agus Djaya that is set as the final lot. You can add more layers of modern nuances to your collection by bidding these artworks from Arkiv, Agus Baqul, Ali RB, Mangu Putra, Mochtar Sarman and I Putu Bonuz Sudiana. You will feel like time leaping from one era to another and have the joy of riding on their fantasy through visual art.

You can start bidding on October 9th and participating the live auction on Saturday, October 17, 2020 via our online platform and offline auction facilities. We encourage you to ask for the condition report of the lot that you like. A closer look of the painting can be facilitated upon request, and we will be more than happy to attend your inquiry via any digital channel you wish.

As October is the month of the international breast cancer awareness, we have pledged to donate 1% of total hammer price to Lovepink Indonesia, a non-profit organization managed by breast-cancer survivors who focus on campaigning the awareness of breast cancer early detection and screening. Kindly visit its FaceBook and Instagram @Lovepinkindonesia and www.lovepinkindonesia.org to find out more about its programs and activities.

Have an artsy stay-at-home moment and bid from home while supporting us to support Lovepink Indonesia.
