Heartfelt greetings from our auction team, Sidharta Auctioneer in Jakarta. The last 100 days have been exceptionally tough time for all of us. I wish that you and your loved ones have been coping appropriately with and going through this unprecedented event. We do hope that you are be able to embrace the new normal when it is ready to take place.
Today’s condition demands meticulous considerations and deep sympathy to accept, refocus and realign. We yearn to remain here to walk through this time together with the collectors, art lovers and enthusiasts, artists including partners. We had to postpone our series of auctions to the middle year to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
Sidharta Auctioneer has been in the industry for 15 years and now has to adapt to the new way of acquiring art and to keep the love of art in flame. Starting on 15th June 2020, our auctions will be online. First we are presenting Asian Modern Fine Art, and second ArtFordable then followed by the debut of Future Vintage. The collections of Asian Modern Fine Art can be viewed in our virtual gallery that is linked to our site www.sidharta-auctioneer.com. We wish to give access and enhance the experience to #bidfromhome wherever you are. Therefore, you have the freedom to bid via our website and App. If you have an inquiry, we look forward to discussing it with you via any digital communication platforms that you prefer.
Asian Modern Fine Art is our first auction of the year. We have carefully selected only 35 paintings by 29 artists that come with reasonable dimensions to offer convenient delivery and shipping. The selections represent the work of renown late artists as well as the talented young artists in Indonesia.
Art is the product of civilization and it is inseparable from every day life. With this in mind, I wish to contribute to help ease the life of children from underprivilege families in Indonesia during this pandemic by donating 1% of the total hammer price that Sidharta Auctioneer generates to Save The Children Indonesia.
