746 Sudjono Abdullah, the brother of the famous
Rp. 9 - 13.500.000 Sudjono aBduLLah Basoeki Abdullah is best known for his landscapes,
(Yogyakarta, 1911 - 1992) and is known to be a better landscape artist than his
US$ 643 - 964 brother.
Here he paints a village marketplace. The images of
Village Marketplace the figures and what they buy and sell are painted in

oil on canvas various colors. There is a large Royal poinciana tree
105 x 160 cm towards the left, known for its fern-like leaves and
flamboyant display of orange-red flowers and hence
signed (lower left):”S. Abdullah” its name pohon Flamboyan in Indonesian.
